What makes these ceremonies “Unique”?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you’ve seen something as a guest at a wedding and wanted to incorporate that into your ceremony. Maybe you have an out-of-the-box idea and you’re not sure how to make it work. Whatever it is, the way we tell your story will make all the difference.

01 - No two ceremonies are the same

I work with each couple to learn more about them and what they want their special day to feel like. Together we comb through various ceremony elements and create a one of a kind experience.

03 — Intense collaboration

You will receive a draft of your ceremony at least one month before your day. You are encouraged to make as many changes as needed. My goal is for your guests to think we’re old friends and not that I’m a random vendor you found on the internet!

02 — Various options

Over the years of performing ceremonies I’ve been introduced to a number of cultural, social and religious ceremonies. We can include a Celtic handfasting, a Jewish glass breaking, an Indian mangala sutra, or anything else that you feel drawn to. For me, the ceremony is the heart of the day. It’s where the couple is most vulnerable and allows us to create a special moment in the day.

04 — A boutique experience

I never book more than one ceremony per day and I close bookings at a maximum of 20 performances a year. This allows me to spend the time necessary cultivating a truly special moment for everyone to witness. There is no template where I drop your names in and perform like a robot, everything is tailor done for you!

The groom was known by friends as the “Jameson Guy” so we made a cocktail to celebrate their union.

The bride, an avid gardener, wanted to incorporate her love of plants into the wedding. We planted a tree and used soil from the couples childhood homes to symbolize two families joining together.

The bride, the education director at an arboretum, wanted to get married near her favorite tree - where she leads children’s programs.

The couple came from different religious backgrounds and wanted to showcase that something beautiful could be made from two different sets of beliefs.

“Lauren was there for us every step of the way! She took special time to get to know us as a couple! She also valued all of our input for how we wanted our wedding ceremony to go. Lauren had such beautiful selections for readings and special additions to make the ceremony truly special. She was there for us every step of the way and truly has a passion for what she does. She made our ceremony amazing and we received many compliments for how beautifully worded and handled the entire ceremony went! She goes above and beyond for her couples and will recommend her services to anyone who wants to have a beautiful wedding ceremony!”
